
Deanna Lesmeister, Doctor of Physical Therapy, PMA certified Pilates Instructor; Founder and Owner – d’Pilates
Deanna is a rarity in the Pilates world, an experienced Pilates professional with a strong background in Physical Therapy and Fitness. She holds a BS is Physical Therapy and a MA in Gerontology (the study of the human aging process) from WSU in Wichita, Kansas. Deanna has been a practicing licensed Physical Therapist for 20 years and by combining that education and drawing on her extensive knowledge of the Pilates repertoire, she is able to focus on the relationship between body and mind and how it affects ones’ complete health picture. Certifications include Physical Mind Pilates Mat, New York Power Pilates mat and equipment, Michael Miller Pilates, Polestar Rehab Specialist, Certified GRAVITY Instructor; GROUP, Personal Training and Pilates, the C.H.E.K. Institute Holistic Lifestyle Coach and is a National Clinical Instructor for Pilates, Strength Training and Yoga. Deanna has recently achieved her Doctorate degree online at Boston University in order to better serve her clients and patients on their journey to health! She has developed and continues to teach educational programs for health care professionals, integrating Pilates and rehabilitation, both locally and nationally.
Deanna is the founder and owner of d’Pilates since its inception in 2005, and is also the President of Healthy World Enterprises, a continuing education business, providing certifications to Physical and Occupational Therapists, as well as other Health Care professionals.

The latest addition to the team, Whitney Jude brings fresh insight to d’Pilates as she continues to expand her knowledge of Pilates and fitness. Her abilities to communicate and coordinate with large groups while maintaining a personal connection with individuals help her to better understand the needs of clients and focus on the most effective regiment and workout for people of various fitness levels. Her belief in a healthy and active lifestyle for all lead her to explore the world of Pilates. Whitney’s enthusiasm makes her a welcome addition as she discovers more of the benefits of Pilates.

Christi was introduced to Pilates through her 24 years of dance experience. Highlights of Christi’s Pilates and dance career were dancing for Disney, Telemundo and MTV. She traveled danced and acted with Kidz Quest productions locally and internationally, and was also a company member of Dancin’ etc. touring company. Her passion for dancing and Pilates led her to a career in teaching and training.

Joyce found the discipline of yoga 4 years ago when an injury prevented her from doing high impact exercises. After experiencing the many benefits of this ancient form of discipline, she realized that she wanted to share it with others.Joyce is certified with Purple Lotus Yoga Teacher Training (200 hours Yoga Alliance Approved). She also has a BBA in Finance. Her other interests are Pilates and Spinning.Yoga is a journey and she looks forward daily to continuing her journey by growing her personal practice and sharing it with others.

Maureen is a pilates practitioner, insightful teacher and enthusiastic coach. A former dancer with a Masters in Choreography and Somatic Studies. It is Maureen’s belief that practicing Pilates is the essence of a healthy lifestyle, instrumental to well being, happiness and longevity.Maureen has taught pilates for over a decade. She brings thirty years experience of embodied kinesthetic knowledge obtained through traditional dance techniques as well as somatic practices inspired by F. Matthias Alexander, Moshe Feldenkrais, Irmgard Bartenieff, Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen and Mary Whitehouse all of which inform her understanding of pilates practice and the dynamic moving self. Maureen has received certifications in myriad movement forms including Laban movement analysis, multiple fitness formats, as well as yoga and pilates. She has been certified through AFAA, ACE, Cooper, YogaFit and Physicalmind Institute for pilates. In her pilates practice Maureen advocates moving with focus and intention to empower experiences that are explicitly rewarding, rejuvenating and liberating to the whole person.
As a movement facilitator it is Maureen’s aspiration to inspire her students not only toward the beautiful quintessential body they long to be, but more importantly, to encourage them to seek and appreciate the deeper meaning of a life energized by a holistic practice of movement agency and somatic awareness, that will encourage and support healthy lifestyle choices, dedicated to action and reflective insight, conducive to happiness and fulfillment.
